Captain Rodney's Traditional Key Lime Curd

We gave traditional Lemon Curd a tropical twist to create this top of the line Key Lime Curd. We blend pure key lime juice, pure cane sugar, eggs, and sweet cream butter slowly in an open pot to make the Captain’s Private Reserve Key Lime Curd.  Serve this “key lime pie in a jar” over teacakes, scones, ginger snaps and pound cake, or spread it between the layers of a coconut cake. Our Key Lime Curd is perhaps best on a spoon straight out of the jar.

Ingredients: Cane Sugar, Key Lime Juice, Eggs, Butter, Water, Fruit Pectin.
